This is a song that i wrote which comes from the book of Joel. The first verse comes right out of chapter 2 verses 12 and 13. This song is one of my favorites and is a reminder to me that we are to turn to God daily. Sometimes we must do that in uncomfortable ways, fasting, weeping and mourning. But God is always good.
Call to Repentance
Even now I turn to you with my whole heart
With fasting and weeping and mourning
I tear my heart not my clothes
And I turn to you my God
For you are gracious
And you are merciful
And you are slow to anger
And your full of kindness yes you are
This is my call to repentance

As I enter this room and I don’t know what to do
Do I sit do I stand do I kneel
Do I bow before your throne
Or do I stand to sing your praise
What I do Lord what I do?
